Even the Miss State pool reporters admit Miss state is essentially one dimensional. They have to run the ball. Read option, old fashioned option, blast left, right, sweep etc. it’s up to our defense to stop them. If they can do that and keep them in the teens this should be an LSU win. (Provided we don’t commit a bunch of turnovers.) if not they will expose our lack of depth on defensive line and grind us into the ground.
They have had two weeks but we are getting healthy. This is where Aranda shows his brilliance and shuts them done. This is where Bebe limited practice times show they work. This is where special teams prove their worth and we show we can tackle and block, or
The dream that will die in tiger stadium will be the one of our SEC championship.

Time off possession will be key in this one

Ehh...
A lot is on Esminger too. State can't run 60 times if the LSU O can control our TOP. We need to keep Sweat and Simmons running sideline to sideline and go up tempo when we can. We need those big boys sucking wind by the 3rd-4th quarter while keeping Fitzgerald on the sideline.

I too would like to see Aranda scheme some dominance tomorrow. I would like to see that.

Score points early and they will have to pass

Is key. It has not been good lately...like at all. (Besides white and Delpit of course)

This game is will be won on the offensive side of the ball. O-line and play calling.

LSU isn’t going to the SEC Championship, but with a win against Mississippi State, it brings LSU one step closer to a Sugar Bowl berth.

1 team 1 heartbeat. What part of that do you nor understand?

Whoever wins time of possession will win this game

So if it is up to Aranda and as someone said a lot on Ensminger, does the head coach actually do anything?

The real key is effort and execution. Whichever side has it, wins.

Maybe not but seems when things are going poorly people are blaming the coordinators and when going well y’all about the great job O is doing.

Getting out to an early lead could really limit their options in the run game. Our secondary is really the strength of our defense. The delayed handoffs are our weakness. If LSU gets up early, then they should run away with it.

Claps his hands, says Geaux Tigers, & yells “Let’s go!!”.

“ Y’all “
Not part of that group, but I call out whoever seems to deserve it.
They all have their responsibilities. I expect O to allow his coordinators to do their jobs based on game planning that includes the head coach’s input. If changes need to be made during half time, I expect group participation, with the coordinator making the calls.
