I had some childhood friends (they're brothers) who had CF. One died at about 13 and the other shortly after hs graduation. Both of them were such good kids. Very nice but it was painful to see them wear down. They'd cough so hard all the time. I remember they presented him at a senior mass and I am not sure if there was a dry eye in the gym. Andrew and Patrick, if you can read this now, I hope it is from heaven.
