So you guys disapprove of killing rats, raccoons, opossums, coyotes, bears, etc? Those are killed and/ or hunted as pests all the time and not eaten.

I agree what this guy did with the email was idiotic.

But pretty much everything in Africa that is shot on these trophy hunts are either a nuisance or over abundant. We don’t have monkeys here so it’s foreign, but they very well could have been a huge nuisance where he was hunting.

Bears are absolutely eaten! Raccoons sometimes as well

I'd shoot a rat in a heart beat. I never shoot coyotes or bobcats for some reason, I like watching them and I just leave them alone. Still have a shite ton of deer and turkeys where I hunt even with all the bobcats and coyotes, they gotta eat also. To me they are pretty animals. I don't shoot bears, I leave raccoons alone, and I'll only shoot a opossum if it's tearing up my yard, I shoot armadillos in my yard also, out in the woods hunting or scouting, I leave them all alone. Rats are disgusting.
