Anyone remember those old glory days?

Friday nights, walking in the door with a couple of pizza boxes with the video rentals sitting on top of them. Kids excited because I'd got the new releases they'd wanted.

Good old days.

Nothing better than being a kid, going to a packed video store on a Friday afternoon/night with a couple of friends or your family and renting 2 or 3 new releases.

Most big stores had "movie candy" at the checkout, only place you could get it outside of the theater, and popcorn popcorn popping with multiple tvs playing movies.

You'd get the movies then plop down in your living room and settle in for about a 4 HR movie marathon.

Absolutely great, simpler times

Nothing better than getting off the bus on a Friday, getting on my bike, going down to BB or Cormies in Lake Charles, getting a movie and a SNES game, some popcorn and a two liter of Mountain Dew

Mom would grab a Little Ceasers buy one get one on the way home. It came in a 3 foot long paper bag. Lol

Perfect weekend
