I agree! If we beat Ga. then we not only knock off the #2 team but the team to play and almost win the natty last year over Bama. Furthermore, we would beat a team who has been killing it in recruiting the past 2-3 years, and show we have the talent to compete with the best of the Div 1 teams. It will signify LSU is back and give us confidence to play hard the rest of the season knowing we can compete with everyone including Bama! More importantly, it will show all recruits thinking about LSU, that we are a team to come to and win the big games and compete for championships.

If I were sure we would beat Bama Nov 3 if we lose this one, and win all other games to finish 10-2 regular season and 11-2 after the bowl game, I would book that in a heartbeat. However, that is not possible to do and this game keeps all of our goals in front of us to run the table, win the SEC and make the playoffs.

One at a time, and this game comes before Bama, so this game is the key to the whole season since we lost to Florida. If we beat Florida this game could be excused if we beat Bama, but we lost last week. We have to win this one to save the season's goals and that LSU IS BACK!!
