It's Ensminger's first year as OC. You have to give him 2 or 3 seasons to fully implement the offense. These expectations are outlandish. E is doing a great job. Coach Eaux believes in him and that's really what matters. We just have to be patient.

2 or 3? He needs AT LEAST 5. We're incorporating elements from:
-The Saints
-The Rams
-80's era 49ers
-early-2000s USC
-early 90s UGA

And of course he will then need to recruit his own players, right? In four years we should be able to get a read on him, but not before.
Hell, Canada may have been the greatest O C in history, for all we know...

absolute nonsense.

Lane Kiffin's first season at Alabama, he made it to the playoffs with Blake Freaking Sims at QB.

Good OCs can make an IMMEDIATE difference.

Patience means nothing to madden clowns. They think all you have to do is move the arrow, make a couple of clicks and your done.

Besides being untrue, we've seen the new talking point for the O lovers.

This is quite an assumption that we believe in O. Maybe antique philosophy trusting antique philosophy will deliver antique results. That’s the OP point. I’m not ready to say I agree or disagree but I am more skeptical than not. The 2nd half last week reminded me a lot of the bowl game against ND. O gets scared and tenses up and gets too damn conservative. He doesn’t trust his coaches or his players. He swore he would fight this old habit but I haven’t seen it. He is too much like his predecessor. Why can’t we play with our foot on the gas for 60 minutes? We are not playing exciting football like we were led to expect.
