re: Growing up in the 80s

I grew up in the 60's & 70's so it was pretty much like that except we had better music.

Didn't have to wear a helmet to ride my bike. Got a motorcycle when I was 14. Was pretty much unsupervised from dawn til dusk. My mom would just say, "Go out and play" and I'd go off in the woods, go fishing, ride my bike, whatever.
