I can't remember, is it 18 holes or 9? Maybe cut it to 9, save on maintenance and use the other space as desired. Make both sides happy? Or turn it into a Par 3 / Executive course?

It's 9 holes. The course is definitely a goat ranch but where else can a non-country club kid learn the game without spending an arm and a leg? A $10 green fee doesn't equate to good greens or conditions but it is affordable for beginners and hackers. Plus you can play it in less than 2 hours and it's right in the middle of the city.
