The Road to #1 for LSU Football

Win the next four games and I don't see Bama holding back the Tigers from taking the #1
I know no one on the planet will be picking LSU to win all 4 of these next games except me. I said pre-season that if we win the first 3 and go into the Georgia game undefeated we will beat Georgia. people laughed - folk will laugh when they read this post - no big deal
Bama looks unbeatable right now but fact is that no team is unbeatable
Not worried about Bama - Ole Miss is enough for now
Take these next 4 one game at a time and put it all on the field

Schedule is hard. Who gives a shite about mid season number 1 in playoff era? Let’s just let each game play out so you don’t premelt if things go wrong

I love the fact of a Bama melt over LSU jumping them during the dead week pre Bama
But right now I care more about beating Ole Miss - I started this thread just to point out the fact that if we win these 4 games while Bama plays

LSU being undefeated and jumping Bama before the game would be the absolute worst thing for LSU. I don’t want to give Bama any extra motivation ... undefeated and #2 will suit me fine.

I want Bama to be ready and have Tua playing great
I want them to think they are going to skull drag LSU just like they have all other teams this year

I agree but I think we play better, at least right now, as the under dog.
I like the game management, superior to anything we have seen in AGES. So I agree, we get to bama undefeated, we take them

I predicted earlier after watching Ga's performance at Mizzou that LSU would win by at least 2 TDs. I think that I stand by that prediction.

I think we could move up to #1 if we take down Georgia. 3 top 10 wins while Bama is still in the September part of the schedule? Yeah, we can jump them.

If the play-off panel was ranking now - LSU would have a good chance of being ranked #1
After beating Florida on the road

a Top 25 MSU
Bama yet to beat a top 20 team

I love how you advise the Rant to take it one game at a time, and "Ole Miss is enough for now". Then go into a soliloquy about beating GA, Bama, and mid season #1 ranking
