Is there any doubt at this point if Trump had not won the republic would be lost?

Looking at the levels they are at now, it really is scary to think what could have been had that broad won.

The only thing that is true is that the country is more morally bankrupt with Trump as POtuS and closer to an authoritarian regime than ever before.
With the GOP in control of everything, the middle class will suck a big dick because the GOP's interest is solely the elites, the powerful and the wealthy. Further, they they are a very threat to democracy the nation has ever witnessed.
As for socialist, almost everyone's parents, grandparents etc would certainly be in worse shape without those "socialist" programs like Medicare and Social Security.

Kasich, Rubio > trump. Trump had great ideas to kick of the election but now he pretty much relies on belittling opponents and has the attention span of a child.

Here we continue to have dogs, dog runs, dog houses, and dog parks. Had Hillary won we'd have been on the way of trading all those for dog woks. No leashes necessary, only wasabi, duck sauce and chop sticks.
