What is too much? So getting first downs and controlling the clock is a bad thing? The pass game was misfiring, yet you want to continue doing it?

Miles was fired for that. I don't think we're that far apart.

But, we're either becoming a spread team or we're not. If you can't "work on" your passing game against Louisiana Tech, you have to try something else.

It is as much a timing and chemistry thing as anything else. I think we're making strides, but reps (and game reps are more valuable than any other) are required to develop proficiency.

We must have been watching two separate games. In the second half LSU was not getting first downs and controlling the clock.

I also don't recall the passing game "misfiring." Sure, there were a few drops, but they pretty much did whatever the wanted throwing the ball. LSU didn't do it near enough if you ask me.
