It’s fricking frustrating how corporate things have become.

I’m only 30 but remember growing up going to the LSU games with my dad and the stadium was full and loud until he end of the game..

The stadium use to be loud and full even back in the day when LSU wasn’t any good.

i'm not saying I would do anything different if I was in charge because it's the way college football has been going for awhile. but your statement is right on. the atmosphere is dying and only shows up for big games. very much like professional sports.

I remember plenty games in the late 90’s and 2000’s just like tonight and the stadium emptied out before halftime.

It has always been an issue.

People blame corporate tickets being the problem. Who do you think works for the corporations in Louisiana?

This! You have to pay to park unless you want to walk miles to the stadium, pay to tailgate, pay for the game and terrible concessions. Then after all of that, get ready to wait 2 hours to get off campus after the game. Fans could be a little more supportive, but the administration needs to make changes to allow fans to do more. They priced the hard core fans out of the experience. Oh, and bring back “Neck.”

It os true about being corporatized. Loud, canned rap music, pay for EVERYTHING, no spontaneity!

It's lost the magic mostly because the people there aren't just happy to watch LSU football anymore. They have certain expectations and demands. I don't think anyone can dispute that.
You can dispute whether they should be called "spoiled", but IMO, it is being spoiled. I know that I'm spoiled as a fan.
I'm finally getting back to just being happy to watch LSU play football, but it has taken a long time to get back there after being spoiled by the success from 2003-2007.
