Red Sox are better than us this season. They deserve the division and I’m not here to dispute any of that.

But. In a game that is increasingly reliant on the bullpen, the Sox don’t have a great group of set up men. Not sure if it means they could lose in the first round. But after watching them a ton this year I’m not convinced they have enough to win the World Series. Obviously the Astros got around it last year but the Sox don’t have the starting depth of a team like that.

Sox are great. But in a playoff series. I think they are really vulnerable.

Timing is everything. No team is unbeatable.

The bats are dead right now, if lazy sanchez, stanton and judge dont get going in the next 2 weeks, the a’s are gonna beat the yankees in the 1 game playoff.

As likable as last years team was, this years team is pretty unlikable for whatever reason.

Winning in Boston is a tall order but Cleveland worries me a little bit more as a Stros fan.

A 7 game series with Boston would be fun.

A 5 game series with Cleveland will be stressful.

If Correa and altuve were going right it would be a wrap, fam. But they ain't right. Springer also has no power since the thumb. If those guys were 100 it would be a cake walk.

Both the Yankees and Red Sox are underperforming given their distinct advantages.

If healthy, I still think the Yankees are better. A good bit better too.

Curious about what these advantages are exactly? Payroll? Every team is owned by billionaire owners who could spend more if they really wanted to.

Boston's bullpen is horrible. Be hard for them to even win a series in the playoffs unless the bullpen pitches better than they have in the regular season.
