I think that is part of why we hadn’t heard of her before now... they don’t think she would pass muster if brought before the Senate.
This woman is looney tunes from all accounts of her students and what has shown up on her in Google searches has supported that as well.

They tried everything else, this is their nuclear option and you can tell they weren't prepared to use it.
