Fine, I'll bite.

We've won 1/3rd of our games all time against Bama. You've won 1/18 against us.

In terms of revenue for football programs, both LSU and Bama are top 10 in the country. La Tech is barely top 100.

In terms of facilities, LSU and Bama are top 10...Tech is maybe top 100?

In terms of attendance and fan support both LSU and Bama are top 10. Tech?...

In terms of prestige and history LSU and Bama are both top 10 (top 12 at worst). Tech....nope

In terms of current players on NFL rosters, LSU and Bama are both top 5 and in terms of talent on both rosters, LSU and Bama are top 5 based on 247 rankings over the past four years. Tech?...not so much

Sorry to burst your bubble, but trying to say Tech and LSU are the same as LSU and Alabama is just comical.

You despise Alabama and Nick Saban because they are, and rightfully so, head and shoulders above you on the gridiron. If you can follow that rambling discussion, then you can see how the other state schools view you in the same vein as you view Alabama. The fact that you are in the SEC makes no difference. You are Bama's little brother just the same as you think we are your little brother, and history, and reading your message boards, prove it. They are your measuring stick and I dare you to say otherwise. You measure your success against Alabama's and like nothing more than to see them fail. How then, are we any different from you? Alabama is in fact LSU's and ANY major program's measuring stick. By comparison, you can't measure LSU's success from the perspective of Tech with a stick, you'd have to measure in astronimical units.

The relative difference between Alabama and LSU isn't remotely comparable to the relative distance between LSU and Tech. Also, we root against Alabama because it's directly beneficial to us with regard to conference standings, poll ranking, and bowl hierarchy. LSU losing does absolutely NOTHING for Tech. It's like two different galaxies, light years apart and unrelated. LSU pulls against Alabama for better position, Tech pulls against LSU as a result of little dick syndrome.

Measuring stick and goal is not always the same thing. We should beat teams like LaTech and SELA in clean efficient ways. Where fans can just sit back and relax watching us dominate, and cheering for kids who normally don't get to play.

It's been a while since we've seen that, and I for one would like to.

I don’t care what y’all say. Tech is my second favorite LA school and there is no way in hell that their fans can even compare to Louisiana-Lafayette die hards. Not a chance.

Tech has tradition starting with their uniforms, a history of putting guys in the NFL for a small school, they haven’t won big at the FBS level but they were a pretty damn good FCS team back in the day. Terry Bradshaw & Phil Robertson were QBs there. If that doesn’t make you like them then nothing will.

Like I stated earlier in the thread, do not take what Nuke says as what the fan base of LA Tech feels towards LSU. Most of the fan base actually like LSU a good bit. If they're not fans of LSU they're typically fans of Arkansas, which would explain why they would want LSU to lose.

Nuke DOES NOT represent the majority of Tech fan base.

Well damn, as I said before, my kid is a junior at Tech. He tells me 90% of the students there are LSU fans. Several sport purple and gold on the Tech campus with zero blowback. Then, I look at the freaks on that message board? Apparently there’s a few Bulldog faithful that hate LSU. Kinda surprises me. And that's how it was 20 years ago too. Plenty of people I know went to Tech for a variety of reasons whether it was wanting a smaller student body, a specific major, needing to stay near home, etc... But that doesn't stop them from being LSU fans/supporters.
