I dont understand the obsession with the no interceptions stat line.

All of the top passers last year threw almost an interception per game while throwing for 2 to 3 times as many tds.

Not saying interceptions are good, but maybe we should just let it fly and not freak out and bench the qb if he throws an interception.

I'm not sure how you can think we didn't let it fly against Auburn this past weekend. Just because we didn't throw an INT doesn't mean Burrow definitely took some big time chances downfield.

You certainly cant call the passing game conservative after what we just saw. This didn't look like last year with Etling making mostly safe throws. Burrow was fitting some passes into very tight windows. Had he been a little off or slow on a few them, he would have had a few picks just like Stidham.

I’d say we did let it fly with 35 pass attempts against Auburn. I really don’t want too many more than that. Keep it balanced especially with the way Brosette has been running.

We’ve complained about a 1 dimensional offense for years and we’ve finally been balanced in the 2 biggest games this year. Play calling has been exceptional so far and I think it will improve as the offense gains more confidence.

No ones benching Burrow after that game. I agree throw it 40 a game while running 30. Jefferson is the best and rightfully so. I would say Dee Anderson/Chase/Sullivan are about even. Marshall just isn't physical enough yet IMO but after this seasons experience and a year in the program workouts, he'll be a beast going forward.

I think we are very deep at WR but it's time to put a little more faith into our big WRs. Work on their timing and catching the ball out the air. Work hard with them each week and I think we'll see lots of improvement by seasons end.
