Before yesterday. Colby vs UF in '14?

I'm probably overlooking the obvious.

The last time LSU won a game on a FG with 0:00 left on the 4th quarter clock was 1941 at Florida. Colby's kick ended with 0:03.

True. I wasn't going to mention that because some people interpret it differently. The fact that yesterday was the first time LSU has gone from trailing to winning on a "walk off FG" in our lifetimes is one for the ages!

Even still the game was tied in 2014 against Florida. The pressure is a little lighter. If you miss you go get them in overtime.

Kicking the game winning field goal down 1 or 2 is a different monster. If you miss it's over and you lose it. That was such a wild finish yesterday. Last play. Make it you win miss it you lose.

LSU’s win over Aub was like Morris’s walk off homer.

Because you generally kickoff after a score when there is time left...like, every single time.

No shite. But you said his kick ENDED with 3 seconds left.

I say his kick ended with 0 seconds left. If you were correct, we would have had to kick off.

Are you a retard? Seriously, the proof is in the video. Colby's kick was good and that play ended with 0:03 left. The kickoff did happen. What the frick is wrong with you?!

Yesterday may well have been the first time in LSU history the Tigers have made a FG to win a game with 0:00 left in which they were trailing prior to the kick. The 1941 game was a tie before and earlier than that FGs were VERY RARE feats.

Not do or die in the reference the OP is suggesting. If Alleman misses his kick, the game simply goes to 2OT. It would not have resulted in a loss.

If it was for the natty yes. Morris’ walk off homer was and still is the only time it’s happen in cws history. Walk off field goals happen all the time.
