None of the top backs at Georgia are going to get a ton of carries if Georgia keeps blowing teams out. It would have been basically unsportsmanlike to run any of our top 3 in the 4th quarter in any of our games so far.

4 carries dude.

His season high is 12 in an SEC East game against USCe that was 20-10 at halftime. TWELVE. Let that sink in. This is a kid who should be a first round draft pick. And, he's averaging 2 carries per quarter. It's amazing. And, the fans are floating a dishonest rumor that he's got a chronic groin issue that he can't get rid of 6 months later. WTF.

You guys are being dishonest and doing exactly what I said you would do...pretend it isn't a problem. It's not a problem for Georgia. It's a problem for the players.

Emery is a workhorse. I'm starting to think you guys don't know what you have. He needs to be fed the ball.

The perfect situation for Emery, no matter where he goes, is for him to be the man, but have a very good backup to share duties. That way, he's not overused, but is still featured.

IDK about whether the groin is or isn't an issue so I won't comment on that.

In the MTSU game, Holyfield was running better so he should have gotten more of the carries. It was then 42-7 at half, ending any chance of the first teamers playing for long.

It was also 41-10 midway through the 3rd quarter, but let's keep being dense.

Ignoring that obvious point, Sony Michel got 156 carries in 14 games last year and was drafted in the 1st round. Maybe it isn't the issue you think.

If UGA has 4-5 "workhorses," I don't want any of them taking a million carries. I want them fresh and would argue that they should want that to if they want to hit the pros with the minimum amount of wear on their bodies.
