Scholarships were unlimited. Some schools had had more than 150 players on scholarship. Nowadays HS kids transfer to football factories and their college choices are “business decisions”. You never heard a FOOTBALL PLAYER use the expression “showing me love” until the last few years.

Look at what's going on with D'Andre Swift in Georgia.
Some of this highly recruited guys are going to not get as many touches as they should. It's just math. It's only going to get worse with Emery. One more mouth to feed.
Georgia will pretend it's not a problem. But, for the kids like Swift who don't get featured when they should, it is.
