Condo w a garage.
When I sold my old house I bought a condo with a garage and boat slip, and bought a rental duplex using the profits from the old house.
If you dont want a yard, a condo with garage is great for a guy with hobbies and stuff.

When I was divorced I rented a condo with a garage, it was a wonderful setup, now that I am retired I want to unload my house and get a similar setup, life is too short for home maintenance and yard work.
