I got an app that told me how much I was saving. That money started adding up very quickly. I did the patch for two weeks (that was more mental than anything). I read this book:
Allen Carr's easyway to stop smoking
This biggest thing I realized is you will CONSTANTLY think about smoking (the good and bad) for the first couple of weeks. It seems like it's all consuming. People smoke just to stop the "voices". But the voices get quieter and not as often and eventually just stop. And it's really a lot sooner than you think...but you have to fight through the first 2-3 weeks. You need lazer focus on a positive habit.
