I managed to make it to Fleet Feet in Monroe. They didn't have any Adrenaline 20s in stock, but they did have the Ghost 12s. Tried on a few different shoes, but will say the Ghost fit like a glove. Interested in ordering a pair of Adrenalines to try as well to get a rotation in if they fit well. Strongly considering order an extra pair of Ghosts too though.
It is insane how much better my body feels after a couple runs in them vs what I have been doing in my ultraboost this whole time.
Now that I have a good shoe for running on the road, track, or treadmill. I was curious would anyone recommend getting a trail shoe? I have a marine buddy who wants to run 3-4 miles a day/3 day per week. But he runs out in the country on trail routes and gravel roads. As I am still very new to this, didn't know if it would be worth looking into a trail shoe.

If it’s mostly gravel, probably don’t need a trail shoe. If you’ll be hitting some mud or slick grass, then maybe.
Can get Nike Pegasus Trail’s for a good deal right now. I’ve been eyeing the Terra Kiger bc I run on the Streetcar line in Nola and it gets messy sometimes and my Epic Reacts are shite for traction.

I've got the saloman Speedcross 4. They were on sale on Amazon when I bought them. Love their lacing system. Been good on the trails so far.

Honestly if it’s your first trail shoe, go to academy and get a $40-60 pair of New Balance or ASICS and see how much you like trail running. I have a $40 pair of Asics I run in regularly and love them. I busted my arse in them this weekend actually and tore my knee up. But that was due to low light and slick rocks.
I like my hundred dollar pair of Brooks MORE but they’re still pretty solid.
