Hardcore...that's the stretch of the century if you were referring to me !

They are a great shoe that are made well + the websites you recommend are great.

Being new I went and got properly fitted but got very heavy Hokas and Brooks at retail price + they always seemed waterlogged after a run.

I do think the Bostons are holding up better because my form is getting better , my old soles were destroyed because I sort of dragged my feet.


As for the 31 pounds, I committed to my health/family when I started running...fat isnt fun and I successfully was able to fat shame myself.

Last September was 210 @ 5'11" and yesterday was 178 before my run...with a substantial amount of bodyfat left to drop.

Strong work. Keep it up. Your story mirrors mine. 7 years ago, I was 5’ 9” 215 lbs and decided something needed to be done. I made changes to my diet and also began running. I am currently 160 lbs and still running, although now I seem to be running with more purpose and goals thanks to this board.
