What we need to see against Southeastern

We need to see razor sharp execution by the offense.
No "slopping around" (as Gerry D would say) and not play down to opposition.
Come out, run the offense and dominate the game and gain some confidence. Move the chains and be efficient in the red zone.
Put away Southeastern early and stay focused.
That is all.

Need to throw a lot. Get the receivers to stop dropping balls and gain confidence

At least 2 missed INTs and 3 missed sacks at minimum.

ARE they even good enough to get a good practice in against or help us get better in any way? How and why did we wind up with SLU on our schedule? I just don't see what we get out of this game. There are cup cakes and then there is this. How do the players even get up for a game like this. To have a good practice you have to have the right mindset to where you have a certain concentration level and I just don't see that happening. I just see a sloppy useless practice happening that we get nothing out of and probably causes more harm than good.

Throw the ball until the passing game and blocking is clicking.
Throw throw throw.
Throw throw throw.

how does catching passes against SLU gain you any confidence. Maybe would give you a false sense of confidence if anything.

Need to work 1st down execution. Hard to be successful on 3rd down when its always 3rd and 9 or 3rd and 7. We need to work on getting 3 or more yards on 1st downs

Because our wide receivers have almost no experience

Was just listening to Hester, Flynn, and Dickson on the radio and one of them made a good point about the missed sacks: they cannot hit the QB in practice, so it takes a little adjusting in that first game to time up that breakdown when running top speed, etc.
This’ll never happen. But, once the Tigers get up by 3 scores, I’d love the crowd to “turn” and act like LSU is the visiting team. Let the offense really practice getting plays off with crowd noise. Just for a few series.
