He was good. But Bama has an off-season to prepare just for this game. Saban always has them looking incredible the first game. And Louisville does not have a good Defense.

Obviously they are the clear favorite, but they are not unbeatable.

But, yes, they will likely extend the streak against LSU.

I hate to say it, but Bama will go undefeated and probably play Georgia again. They are the 2 best teams. Period.

I can understand saying this about Bama after yeaterday, but what did UGA do to warrant this assessment?

I often wonder if some you guys actually watch football.

I was demoralized watching them call a roughing passer penalty on the Louisville guy tackling Tua around the legs.

Especially since Tua had jumped a foot off the ground to launch the throw.

Our defenders must learn to calculate a higher strike point based on the possibility that the Bama QB may execute a jump pass.

I’d take Burrow over Tua any day of the week

JH graduates in DEC. he gone after this yr. The Bama defense is suspect this yr. UL sucked and couldn’t get out of their own way. I think LSU has a better chance this yr to beat BAMA, Tua is the x-factor in the equation.

He torched the vaunted Louisville defense and you're throwing in the towel

You can’t deny he’s good, but those windows will close against good DBs and an aggressive DL chasing him.

Agree, He is much better than Hurts but damn he was playing against a glorified HS defense last night. Bama's OL will be an issue against some SEC defenses. The key is whether they will be able to control his "play extending runs and passes"

Why? He stares down his receiver. LSU'S DBs are going to pick him off.

The entire college world is demoralized by it. The entire college world except Bama fans and tv are tired of Bama winning all the time. It simply makes college football worse.

I thought their defensive front and game plan was solid. Just too few impact players. They Tua on the run quit a few times.

One thing I did notice was when under pressure he tended to just heave that ball, he got lucky on that one TD because the DB slipped or that could have been intercepted.

I noticed that Tua throws to open spots on the field and not to the receiver. It reminded me of how Jimbo coaches his qbs to throw the receiver open and not wait until he gets open.

I mean he practices against Bama defense every day. You think he won’t be ready?
