I have noticed many people from Ohio like Burrow’s old schools and teammates wearing a bunch of LSU gear and cheering us on from afar.

Do you think this could help us in the long run with recruiting blue chip players from that region?

If he plays really well and we have a good year or 2 then I could see maybe a few kids might give us a look that normally would not.

Valid point. Not to mention, we might pick up some of that merchandising revenue and television money.

Yes, it will help. All true OSU fans added a new team and became LSU fans this fall. More people will watch Sunday's game in Columbus than in Miami. I bet Columbus will be the second best market when ratings come out next week.

No. LSU is a complete afterthought in the Midwest. One player isn’t going to change that.
