Guy friend dropped out of our all guys fantasy football league. Is he less of a man?

Longtime competitor in friends family league refuses to play fantasy football because, "He is not that into it anymore".
He also has had a shitty team the last 3 years and is notorious for quitting things when he can't win.
Friends Wife is now in the league, replacing him, and drafted one of the best teams I have ever seen in a 12 team league. Should we give him a hard time?

I’m not doing it this year either. Just recently adopted two kids and don’t have the time to mess with it. Kinda burned out on it myself
