I don’t really care too much either about his time at ole miss.
Ole miss isn’t/wasn’t LSU in terms of resources and talent.

Not to mention Ed has stated numerous times he’s not same man or coach he was then as he is now.

People mature.
Coaches mature.
It’s been 10 years. Get over it.

Just as a discussion point, is it out of bounds to consider his time at Ole Miss since he made the same mistake at LSU with Canada as he did with his OC at Ole Miss? Has he actually proved that he's changed or matured as you say as a coach?

I have no doubt that it's possible for him to change. I really hope he's learned from that and that these new coaches work out this year.

Thank you for the post. The negative fan base needs to understand it takes time for a coach to get his players and philosophy in place. After 3 years if this experiment doesn’t work as in no progression then it’s time to make a change. The players who chose LSU are representing our state some of us in TD need to do a better job of supporting them.

don't need to talk about ole miss to talk about UF 2016, Miss state 2017, Syracuse 2017, and Troy 2017.

What he did last year was similar to his time at Ole Miss. He simply had better players to cover for him.

He really hasn’t changed, nor can he!
