I don't know what makes you say that. I've discussed this with folks who hold the opinion that fat people should pay for their increased medical costs. Usually those people feel the same about other high risk behavior.

I don't think we should charge those people extra. They can't help it. In spite of what people on here say - it is easy for me to cut back when my waistline is getting tight - it's exceedingly difficult for some people.

So we should pay for people being weak minded and indifferent about their irresponsible behavior? frick that, expose yourself to more risk, pay more.
