thought I would drop this here for yall. Found this site the other day. You can pick any country and see the us aid package break down to them.
Notice the graph. Looks like 2010 was a banner year for aid giving under HRC. Wonder how much of that made it back to the Clinton foundation.
Also notice 2016 almost every country got a nice raise before Obama left office.
2018 trump has made some changes.

Afghanistan, $5 billion this year and $70 billion total on the "Afghanistan security forces" fund.
That is not our own military costs, but money "spent" to help Afghanistan develop their own security force.
LINK
So we are spending billions each year on a fake military?
Wtf?
Where is the money going?
There must be US contractors pocketing billions from this. Or US politicians pocketing billions.
Anyone here have a reasonable explanation of why so much money is sent, and wasted apparently?
This sounds a lot like the mafia and their "no show" construction jobs.

For all the talk of US troop levels in the country, personnel problems have long plagued Afghanistan National Security Forces, leading to a cycle of corruption and fraud that makes developing a long-term security plan near impossible for one simple reason: neither the the Pentagon nor Afghan officials "truly know how many Afghan soldiers and police are available for duty, or, by extension, the true nature of their operational capabilities" due to shady and inconsistent record keeping, according to a 2016 SIGAR report on the ANDSF.
The lack of transparency of the ANDSF's fraught personnel system is perhaps most viscerally captured in a report from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, is that of "ghost soldiers" — troops that are paid, equipped, and trained on the Pentagon's dime, but don't actually exist. The new SIGAR report found that of the nearly 350,000 ANDSF troops that are on the payroll, nearly 200,000 of them are ghost soldiers, with the money likely being distributed among corrupt government officials.

It would be nice to keep that money stateside to help with infrastructure and education.

We already spend more per student than any other country for K-12.
We don't need to be paying more for folks to go to college either. If you want to go find a way to pay for it.

Then there is World Bank, Inter American Dev. Fund, UN several departments, USAid, Im not certain this includes all of those or just direct aid.
Im telling you fellas if you saw all the friggin money you are wasting it would make you sick. Here we have uncompleted highways, dorm buildings, you name it. We get the funding, start to build, next party gets elected, and they want their kickbacks so they start more infrastructure. And its all being funded with your tax dollars, making some politicans very wealthy.
All administered by a bunch of bureaucrats that just move from embassy to state staff jobs, to the banks and back, all living like kings in the third world, and I bet you every one of them are dems.

Afghanistan is like a swimming pool...a whole in the ground, you throw money into, never to be seen again.

Why would we give Canada $250,000 for a Pothole project. We are a really stupid country when it comes to managing money.
