Since a lot of ETFs overlap I was hoping there was a tool to show all the holdings of your ETFs, and add them up to show total equity in individual stocks.
Do you know of one? Best I've found to show holdings is Market Watch.

Personal capital may do this.

My accounts are with Merril Edge and they have a "portfolio analysis" tool that does what you're asking - breaks down your etf holdings by sector and also lists your total ownership of every stock whether individual or rolled into an ETF. Anyway, not exactly the answer you're looking (unless you happen to be a ML client) for but such tools definitely exist.

Portfolio visualizer is a very good backtester and has the ability to show total equity, bond, sectors, etc.

It won't show an overlap analysis but there are free tools for that as well.
Technology is really changing in the financial industry. Vanguard, Wisdom tree, and iShares all have free portfolio analysis as well. You just need to sign up for a free account and call yourself an advisor.

I use Yahoo Finance. They have a iOS app as well.

Morningstar can do it too, but I'm not sure if that's a free perk or not.
