They know this man. It is a great place to start for him since that is his specialty, and if successful it provides him with chance to prove himself as a passing QB as well. These are just trolls. Admin trolls most likely.

There's nothing wrong with it and IMO that's what he should have stayed to do just that. But, he wants the opportunity to be more than that. I don't see why anyone would talk bad about the kid because of that.
