Strief isn’t great now but he’s not terrible considering his lack of experience. I think he’s got talent and will develop nicely in the role

Thats the problem, along with the awful play by play voice.

If he walks up to his local HS asking for this same job, the first thing they're gonna ask about is his experience. Then he's probably getting turned away when he tells them he has none.

WWL/Saints? One of the only 32 of these spots on the planet? Sure!

This is the NFL, not high school. Your radio play-by-play position is NOT a developmental position. I posted this last week...and I still believe the analogy fits.

I haven’t had the chance to listen, but I expected him to take awhile to get the hang of it. Ihope he pulls it off. He’s a good guy.
