The original release date for Thorn of Emberlain was September 2016. Last update I saw was Lynch asking fans 6 months ago to give him perspective on a gay character. Since then, not much.

He released a bunch short stories recently and then made a press release. Although he didnt directly mention it or a release date, he has supposedly been updating the website and made some indirect comments that may be a good sign for a late 2018 / early 2019 release.
I linked it in a post on a prior page - maybe just wishful thinking but I hope a release is coming soon.
