Why would he for stating what should happen if this coach looses 7 games, only beating Rice, SELA, La Tech, Arkansas, and Ole Miss? He didn’t say O would lose 7 games or even that he is incapable of winning 10 or more.
Only that if he can only win 5 games after the previous coach was fired for never winning less than 8 games. He was supposed to keep the ship aright, not rebuild since one was not needed.
Here’s hoping he proves all the naysayers wrong, I would love to be wrong about this. FTR, I think we win at least 8 this year. The Miami game will tell us a lot about where to place our expectations.
