There are currently some medical studies, and litigation, that suggests that these meds effect children differently than adults due to the child’s brain still developing. Remember that the drug was designed for adults and that doesn’t mean that a smaller dose makes things equal. There is a saying in medicine: “Kids aren’t just small people.” They are different physiologically and require different treatments.
