Maybe if we had just won a war or something I could partially be on board but having a parade while we are STILL stuck in the longest US war in history is absurd.

I’ve been to Bastille Day. It’s cool, but save for France, no other country worth a shite does this except when there’s an actual war. 100% opposed to this and am now furious at the price tag.
