Does that matter?
Is Traore not being ready to play in the SEC ok because most people aren’t?
Most people aren’t on scholarship on an SEC football team.

Because the roster was very badly depleted before he got here.
tha's an understatement.
"Ed Orgeron and Dave Aranda were on a recruiting trip late last fall when LSU’s defensive coordinator turned to the head coach.
“Do you know,” he started, “that we have more kickers on scholarship than inside linebackers?”
“Shhh!” Orgeron replied. “Don’t tell anyone that, Dave!”
Eight months and a signing class later, LSU’s inside linebacker situation is much improved. First off, the program now has more inside linebackers on scholarship (five) than kickers and punters (three)."
The depth is back: LSU's three freshman linebackers are seeing a lot of action in camp
"DC Dave Aranda no longer has to turn to walk-ons for ILB depth"
I know; But, But, But we should have signed more Dline. It was a failure.

Recruiting coordinator for a year. Interim coach for 10 games. Full time coach 1 season. Been on staff and heavily involved with recruiting for 4 years now. How much longer does he need? You tell me Derek.
It's precisely this simple and it easily shows that the program wouldn't miss a beat if Orgeron walked out the door at any time. He's clearly not a "program changing" type coach that makes an unequivocal positive impact on the program that he's aligned with at that time.
All good and future great head coaches in college and the NFL have left their mark on teams they left behind. The majority of these coaches were excellent at running the offensive or defensive side of the ball. This provided useful insight when determining how they would run a complete team.
The fact Orgeron has been a part of the program for 4 years now and there's no evidence to support him having any real program changing impact anywhere is a clear red flag.
If LSU's D-Line had made major improvements and were clearly dominant over the last few years, then Orgeron coaching acumen wouldn't be challenged as often. The play on the field and recruiting with this group has been merely average since Orgeron stepped on campus.

So DL depth was fine in 2017?
And we just lost to Troy and Miss state because O sucked?
Why was it more Important to fill needs and take 3 star DL in 2018 than in 2017?
Why take 3 safeties in 2017 and not take more DL? Why take 2 QBs? Oh didn’t just keep 2 QBs from Miles’ class, both decommites and O went and rereceuites both.
Despite them having 2 completely different styles.

No, but when the defensive coordinator is having to use walkon ILB's in practice because there are more scholarship kickers than ILB's decisions have to be made.
My quote was in reference to the guy who keeps insinuating that LSU should have signed a lot more Dlinemen than they did in 2017.

Why is that the only position you think he could have cut back at?
We should have signed more DL in 2017.
We had depth issues at both LB and DL.
We either should have 1. Signed more DL or 2. Signed better DL who could have contributed. Who would have helped this team more last year? McMath or a JUCO DT? We signed 1 DL who even played stepped on the field

For the third time now, Eaux kept all of the class that was committed. The guys stayed on through a coach firing, an interim coach and not knowing who the new HC would be. And they stayed. He did not cut any of them loose.

I see the orders are in from the propaganda machine. Damage control is in full gear.

He was the interim coach , not like he got hired in January and showed up and pulled off this recruiting miracle.

Oh but we didn’t have a full class when Les was fired and we added more than just ILB and Chaisson.
We took a third safety on signing day. We took a 3 star WR in January. We took a second QB (I forgot What happened to him) who decommitted.
Like I know it’s short term but we took players at log jam position AFTER les was fired that maybe should have been DL.
He’ll we took 2 3* Freshmen DL that could have been JUCO guys. We have like 5 freshmen DL this year so we clearly had no problem loading up on younger DL talent going forward.
Like we needed additional depth on the DL and O didn’t get it, and I think it cost us at least 1 game.

What damage control?
The fact that at least 4 of the transfers brought in will start at LSU this season?

Damage control to spin two players who weren’t going to play more than a few short yardage wildcat snaps. Love the Rant

Sadly when "O" is successful, Most nagative disrespectful idiots will not admit they are wrong
I am a witness
Or if O isn't successful, most positive idiots are going to blame the lack of QBs or [insert situation/position here] on something other than O, and point to next year as the year because O "needs time to fix what Miles broke." Or blame the players themselves. Or still blame Canada. Or blame Aranda for making O hire Canada. Or blame message board fans.
Or literally blame "New Transfers that haven't had time to gel with the team."
That will be my favorite. The very thing being pronounced as awesome will be the excuse down the road. It has happened before.
I'd be happy as heck if O is not what most data, opinions, and summations of his career point to. That happens at 11 wins this year and/or 12 next year. No excuses.

Ha Ha Ha !!!
The moron is claiming damage control because of the two QB transfers?
The idiots are entertaining if nothing else.

So you're admitting that you are a pea-brained idiot that we can't change the mind of? Duly noted.
