I also have documentary evidence of Connery’s Bond drinking cocktails other than the famous vodka martini. Just watch the movies. And in the novels, Bond has a habit of “drinking locally.” Hence the Bourbon he has in the French Quarter of New Orleans in Live and Let Die.
And the fact that he continues to hold the vodka martini as his beverage of choice proves you ultimately wrong.
