I couldn't agree more. Of course we assume Burrow will win the job. But, would it really be that unheard of if Narcisse or Brennan makes a big jump during fall camp?

I mean, they're both pretty well-connected within the athletic department and their former colleague is Orgeron's right-hand man. I'd be surprised if they haven't already heard which way the coaching staff is leaning.

If he is not clearly the best by now then he's not going to be clearly the best in a couple of weeks and this whole endeavor was a bust.
He wants to play Burrow. Just get him prepared already. Every day he isn't getting first team reps is a day of preparation lost that can cost him big time.
There is no way to go about this where no one gets their feelings hurt. O just needs to do his damn job and make a decision.
