I get cell coverage across my lease in varying degrees, but I can't get cell cameras to work on 100% of the place. Cell cameras I have used:
Spartan HC cameras
$400
Monthly fee to Spartan
3 month plan with ATT - $25
Pro: works great, has a great app and website, easy to use, long battery like (3 months). Also it survived being submerged in a flood for 2 days.
Con: cell coverage needs to be at least 3 bars, have to pay Spartan to use all the features such as remote change of settings, expensive
Synper Commander 3G
$220-$250
3 month plan with ATT - $25
Pro: cheaper, works at 1 bar or less of signal
Con: setup wasnt super easy, app isnt the best, can only text to 1 number and rest of hunters use app, night photos just average.
All in all my next wireless camera would be the Synper. They came out with a Commander 4G ($320) that has 14x signal strength that I would like to check out.
Cell cameras are fun but a lot of time they don't send 100% of every picture they take. Unless you have great cell coverage at your place, you may experience issues with any camera sending pictures.

I have decent coverage for the Crush 8. It works on 3G. I think I have 2 bars. The Snyper was going to be my second choice if the Crush didn't work.

I set 2 of these yesterday before we left the ranch. Pretty happy with the first set of night/day pics we got. I do think the quality is going to fall off once we move them from the protein pen close quarters to the foot plots, but I guess that’s to be expected.
The setup all in was around $380/each for everything. Added the SIM cards to our AT&T plan as data only tablets for $10/month per cam.
