Alabama is a part of it, but we have had plenty of Bama, Ole Miss, etc players that Saints fans have loved.
Its obviously a combination of factors, but the primary one was we traded up to get him and he wasn't great initially.
If he had rushed for 2000 yards year 1 no one would have brought up Bama.

It was purely because he went to Alabama and his vision sucked for 2 1/2 seasons.
