I’m sorry I thought you meant South Carolina since you or some one (if I’m confusing posters I apologize) mentioned a hypothetical involving South Carolina beating UGA having a better claim to the playoffs per my criteria which is false. However given a hypothetical 2017 where South Carolina beat UGA and Auburn, then yes I would have Southern California in over Bama based on winning their conference (not simply division, but conference. This is why hypotheticals are stupid because we can always come up with some doomsday scenario but in reality it never happens. My playoff last year would have been : Clemson, OU, UGA and Ohio State. That’s teams 1,2,3 and 5. Hardly a miscarriage of justice.
