Honestly, after analyzing the races , I believe the Republicans hold on by 8-10 seats. And of course pick up 4-8 Senate seats . Oh and SCOTUS.

For what it's worth.... this 12th district of Ohio elected Obama by a comfortable margin.

Seems like a real Trump backlash would have the dem doing a little better than barely losing this one.

Misleading. The district lines were redrawn in 2011. Under the current district outline, McCain would have won by 7+ points in 2008.

But that's not enough for the Dems who want a blue wave, they want to retake the house and the senate. Just retaking the house won't be good enough for them and they will still melt.

Is this true? I haven't seen this anywhere. If so I'll redact my statement.

It's true, but irrelevant. The 2008 OH-12 results don't matter after it was redrawn in 2011. Using the same precincts that are currently in OH-12, republicans have received 53-55% of the vote in emthr last 3 presidential elections. Dems have been anywhere from 42-45%.
