People need to get out of the mindset that 100k miles is "high mileage". Pretty much any engine made in the last 20 years can last hundreds of thousands of miles with regular maintenance.

You talking about the front diff? GM trucks have always come with tiny joints up front, but unless they went to a much weaker diff in '08, I haven't heard anything about that
