How has the police not released the victim's story yet? Seems like if it was all truly an accident, they would have. Them holding the story leads me to believe there was some foul play or they are waiting on an autopsy possibly.

I'm going to laugh when this guy was like 275 lbs and claims that he out swam her.

He was holding onto a crab trap, a whole lot different from swimming. The extra weight would have been an advantage in keeping his core body temperature up.

One of the Boating Safety Saturdays we went to in NOLA talked about how to survive in Pontchartrain. Conserving energy and staying where you are likely to be found were two of the major take aways.
