I guess chefs are annoying frickers too, since they are constantly all about the execution of marrying the various flavors from roots, herbs, leaves, flowers, and meats into seemingly endless dishes. They even call these dishes cutesy names, what figs, amirite?

So making marijuana illegal in 1937 using racial smear campaigns, and then continuing on this lie for almost another hundred years, where to this day the federal government views marijuana as a schedule 1 drug, which by definition has no medical value whatsoever, and also consider how meth, cocaine, and opiates are all schedule 2 or lower, which have some medical value, is not something of importance? The US govt even conducted research on it in 1974 and found that marijuana can kill cancer cells. Yet here we are almost 45 years later and the gov't still denies any medical benefit from marijuana.

Not to mention all the people who have been thrown in jail for committing crimes with no victims. Surely even the most hard headed knuckle head can even admit that spending $32,000 (2015 numbers) a year for imprisoning a person who using marijuana is a waste of tax money (unless you own a share in the privatized for profit prisons), and clogs up the prison/court systems where those resources could be better used on someone committing a real crime that has real victims. Although from the cops perspective, it is easier to just arrest pot heads as they are much easier to deal with than having to deal with thieves, gang members, rapists, murderers, etc who are more likely to fight back against the piggies.

Sorry that you think wasting tax payers money on imprisoning people who use marijuana (victimless crimes) is not some important issue. Not to mention clogging up the court systems, and the police departments where those resources could be better used elsewhere, like cleaning up real crime. I bet you sleep real good at night seeing those college kids get thrown in jail for smoking a joint. Only if they just popped some pills and got black out drunk and all would be good?

That is an interesting take, as the first president of the US had grown marijuana and wrote about separating the male and females and the 'blossoming' of the plant. But yeah, no pothead in the history of pot, or heads, have ever had thier 'shite' together. All that well.

I sure hope we never base laws on anecdotal evidence from people who live in bubbles.
