Wonder if this is why he chose #9.

Qualities that Burrow has can also benefit our other QB’s. Confidence is a necessary ingredient

Has anyone taught Brennan what the laces on a football are for?

Brennan will get there, he is still basically a freshman just out of HS. He was a true frosh thrown into fire last season, and it takes time to pack on weight and size. Depending on how high his metabolism is they have to build a regiment around that to make the calories stick. He's a skinny really young kid with a super high metabolism right now, but I expect him to be around that size by the time he's ready to take over, if he's still at LSU. Lol shite, Burrows is a grad student so he's been around for minute.

Reminding me of Stafford for some reason.

Physically yes. But unfortunately he doesn’t possess the cannon he had. Arm is adequate hopefully the smarts and savvy we hear about will carry him/us to glory

Brennan needs to get some reps in 4 games and get that RS year. Would be huge for his progress

Glad some people still have logic.

Read something where they had Brennan waking up during night for another meal. He's supposedly taking in some insane amount of calories daily to try and bulk him up. Some people just don't gain weight easily. Unfortunately, I don't have that good fortune

Don’t think anyone’s debating that burrow has been in a college SC program for 3 years vs. Brennan, but clearly Burrow looks like an SEC QB.

Many QBs don't concern themselves with the laces on the fast paced quick throw plays from the shotgun.

Something tells me that Brennan knows how to throw a ball better than you do anyway.

Looks like a pro qb. Brennan needs I take notes... I want him looking like that by the time burrow leaves
Exactly. If Burrow plays as expected, we also want Brennan (and Narcisse) modeling his practice/drill habits also.

Both of them should prepare as if they are going to be the starter, week 1. That is the job of any backup, any position. And that's how you go from backup to starter anyway.

I think we will be surprised by the strength and accuracy of his short to intermediate throws. Hell last year WRs had DBs beat deep and Etling under threw them. I think Burrow will be an upgrade in that space.
