So now PC means the opposite of what it use to mean?

I thought non PC meant hiring the person who was best at the job and not hiring based on race or gender?

I get your point, but the job has always really been to be "eye candy" for what consist of a mostly male fanbase. The only people who actually give a shite how good of dancers they are, are the dancers themselves. The male fans just want to see hot girls in minimal clothes. The females don't really give a shite either way, but I doubt they are at a FOOTBALL game to watch a guy dance well.

Hell, one of (if not maybe their only) independent revenue stream comes from calendar sales with the dancers in bikinis. Maybe I'm COMPLETELY wrong on this, but I would bet the majority of Saints fans who buy said calendars do so because (a) the women are pretty and scantily clad; and (b) won't buy a calendar if July features a gay guy in a short swimsuit.

In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal. But it's a PC push to fix a "problem" that didn't exist. No significant number of Saints fans have been clamoring for a male Saintsation
