I spent my first deployment in Mosul in 03 to 04. Lot of blood sweat and tears. Lost some friends in the process .When we did the ride along with our follow on unit it was peaceful.
A politician gave it all back to these idiots in 2009. All that hard work. All that sacrafice. I dont care if they are Republican or Democrat..they can suck a dick in hell.

I hope we never send soldiers over there like that again. Too many lives lost for the same damn city to be retaken by a terrorist group years later. Thankfully it’s back in Iraqi govt hands and Iraqi troops did their own fighting this time. Same with Fallujah, Tikrit, Ramadi, etc.
